A LITTLE HISTORY
The Move from Arizona
After owning and breeding Arabian horses since 1969 in Arizona, Bordwin Farm was established in Ireland in 2005, moving six purebred Arabians from the USA to the Slieve Bloom Mountains in County Laois, Ireland, where the air is pure and the grass is nutritious.
Three of these six are the get of SIR WM NISSAM, (*SAMBOR X NIDAHL)
who won the IAHA Derby in 2004, and was Colt of the Year.
In 2006, one stallion, ZYGMUNT (*GANGES X ZUZANNA [ x WOJSLAW]; and one mare, WEDETA (WERMUT X WIORSTA [ x BANAT];
were imported to Ireland - the first Arabian horses from Poland to Ireland.Mickey Hegg

Registered/National & Regional Level judge, since 1987
Mickey has judged in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Ireland,
and most of the States; including Canadian and US National Shows
In addition to her judging skills,
Mickey has been the manager of the prestigious Scottsdale Show and the chair of the Youth Arabian National Show Commission.

The following year 2007, the beautiful bay mare
FIDZI (MONAR X FIGLARKA [MONOGRAMM] joined the other two Polish horses.
Ten foals have resulted since, and have made new owners very happy.
